GLB (.glb) is the binary version of glTF (GL Transmission Format), the open standard for 3D on the web. Unlike .gltf which uses external files for textures, .glb bundles geometry, materials, textures and animations into a single binary file.

Are my GLB files uploaded?

No. Models you open from your device stay on your device and are rendered locally with WebGL. Only the public sample model is requested from the server.

What is the difference between .glb and .gltf?

.gltf stores the 3D data as JSON with separate binary (.bin) and texture files. .glb packs everything into one binary file for easier distribution. Both are the same glTF format — the viewer supports both.
