Mulch Gravel Soil Bulk Bag Estimator

A landscaping material estimator for gardeners, landscapers and DIY renovators:

1. Pick the material — bark mulch, wood chips, pea gravel, crushed stone, river rock, loose/screened topsoil, play or concrete sand, compost, or a custom density.
2. Choose the area shape: rectangle, circle (length = diameter), triangle (length × width = base × height), or a tapered bed/border that takes two depths and averages them.
3. Enter length, width and depth in your preferred units (metric m/cm or imperial ft/in).
4. The estimator computes volume (m³, liters, yd³, ft³), weight (kg/lb/tonnes) from the material density, the number of 1 m³ or 1 yd³ bulk bags, and the small retail bag count (default 40 L / 2 ft³, configurable).
5. A waste/compaction allowance inflates the order, and warnings flag depths outside the recommended band or excessive allowances.

Offline and deterministic: densities are typical loose/dry values; confirm exact figures with your supplier for billing.
