Mastering Before/After Report
Compare a source mix against its master: integrated LUFS, true peak, LRA, DR dynamic range, crest, spectral balance and waveform strips, with every delta spelled out.

What this tool helps you do
Feed in the pre-master and the finished master and get an honest engineering diff, not a vibe. Loudness comes from the EBU R128 measurement chain (integrated LUFS, true peak in dBTP, loudness range), plus the peak-to-loudness ratio (PLR = true peak − integrated) that streaming codecs care about. Dynamics use a TT DR-style offline metric: 3-second blocks, the SECOND-highest block RMS against the overall sample peak, so one accidental transient cannot fake a wide-range reading — the same anti-outlier trick the original DR meter used. A spectral centroid and low/mid/high energy shares expose brightness and tonal shifts, and two waveform strips show level and clipping shape at a glance. The report leads with the actual gain change (master LUFS minus source LUFS) and flags the deltas that matter: true-peak headroom lost, LRA squeezed, DR crushed. Only the same-length version pair makes a strictly fair comparison; length mismatch is flagged, not rejected. Measurement files stay untouched — this tool only reads.
