1. Removing Amplitude Shift from an Analog Synth Recording
Mixing EngineerBackground
An engineer imported a synth lead recorded through an external analog filter unit that introduced an asymmetric +0.12 baseline shift.
Problem
The offset reduced headroom and triggered compressor sidechains unevenly across positive and negative peaks.
How to use
Upload the synth track, choose WAV as the output format, and run the correction tool.
outputFormat: wavOutcome
The tool removes the positive shift, collapses peak asymmetry from over 2 dB down to near 0 dB, and produces a verified, centered WAV file.
