Audio Master Reference Match

A referencing assistant that closes the gap between your mix and a commercial reference the way mastering engineers do it: compare the broad spectral contour, not note-level detail. Both tracks are decoded and measured — integrated LUFS/true peak via EBU R128, and the mean power spectrum over Hann-windowed FFT frames collapsed into 28 third-octave ISO bands from 31.5 Hz to 16 kHz. Each spectrum is normalized by its own broadband energy, so the comparison isolates tonal tilt from loudness. The per-band difference becomes an EQ match curve, scaled by your match strength and clamped by the max band gain, then applied as a single zero-latency FIR equalizer (FFmpeg firequalizer). Loudness handling trims the output to the reference's integrated LUFS (or keeps yours), with a true-peak limiter engaged only when the trim would push peaks over −1 dBTP. The report shows every band's mix/reference levels, the gain applied, and how much the tonal similarity score improved. A guide, not autopilot: trust the before/after numbers and your ears.
