CBR (Comic Book RAR) is simply a RAR archive whose contents are ordered image files (JPEG/PNG). Renaming a .cbr to .rar lets any RAR tool read it; it is a convention for packaging comic pages.

Are my RAR files uploaded?

No. The archive stays on your device and is read locally in the browser. Only the public sample archive is requested from the server.

Can it handle RAR5 and multi-volume archives?

The viewer reads standard RAR and RAR5 archives. Multi-volume archives (split across .part1.rar, .part2.rar, etc.) are only complete when all parts are available.
