About this file format

.ofd (Open Fixed-layout Document) is a national standard of China (GB/T 33190-2016) for fixed-layout electronic documents. Similar in purpose to PDF, it packages pages, text, images, and fonts into a zip-based container so layout is preserved exactly across devices. It is the mandated format for many Chinese e-government and e-commerce documents, including electronic invoices (电子发票), electronic contracts (电子合同), and official government documents (电子公文).
