Audio Hall Reverb
Add a reverb effect simulating a large hall
file· File result
Quick start
Call this tool from your code in three languages.
cURL
# 1) Upload each file first → returns { filePath }
curl -X POST 'https://api.elysiatools.com/upload/audio-hall-reverb' \
-F 'file=@/path/to/audioFile.ext'
# 2) Call the tool with the returned filePath values
curl -X POST 'https://api.elysiatools.com/en/api/tools/audio-hall-reverb' \
-F 'audioFile=/path/to/file.ext' \
-F 'hallSize=0.8' \
-F 'decayTime=2.5' \
-F 'diffusion=0.7' \
-F 'damping=0.4' \
-F 'preDelay=100' \
-F 'outputFormat=mp3'
API reference
Send a POST request with your inputs as JSON. File parameters require a separate upload first.
Endpoint
HTTP
POST https://api.elysiatools.com/en/api/tools/audio-hall-reverb
Parameters
| Name | Type | Required | Description |
|---|
| audioFile | fileupload required | Yes | — |
| hallSize | range | No | Relative size of the concert hall. Larger values = bigger spaces with longer decay. |
| decayTime | number | No | Time for reverb to decay to silence. Longer = more reverberant hall. |
| diffusion | range | No | Controls how dense and smooth the reverb tail is. Higher = more uniform decay. |
| damping | range |
MCP integration
Add this tool to your Model Context Protocol server so AI agents can list and call it.
Server configuration
Add this block to your MCP client configuration:
mcp.json
{
"mcpServers": {
"elysiatools-audio-hall-reverb": {
"name": "audio-hall-reverb",
"description": "Add a reverb effect simulating a large hall",
"baseUrl": "https://api.elysiatools.com/mcp/sse?toolId=audio-hall-reverb",
"command": "",
"args": [],
"env": {},
"isActive": true,
"type": "sse"
}
}
}
List available tools
After connecting to the SSE endpoint, list the exposed tools:
tools/list
{
"jsonrpc": "2.0",
"id": 1,
"method": "tools/list"
}
Call this tool
Invoke the tool by its id, passing arguments built from its parameters:
tools/call
{
"jsonrpc": "2.0",
"id": 2,
"method": "tools/call",
"params": {
"name": "audio-hall-reverb",
"arguments": {
"audioFile": "https://example.com/file.ext",
"hallSize": 0.8,
"decayTime": 2.5,
"diffusion": 0.7,
"damping": 0.4,
"preDelay": 100,
"outputFormat": "mp3"
}
}
}
Chain multiple tools in one session with a comma-separated toolId list, e.g. /mcp/sse?toolId=png-to-webp,jpg-to-webp,gif-to-webp (max 20). | Controls high-frequency absorption. Lower = brighter hall, Higher = warmer, damped sound. |
| preDelay | number | No | Initial delay before reverb starts. Simulates distance to walls in large halls. |
File-type parameters must be uploaded first via POST /upload/audio-hall-reverb, then the returned filePath is passed to the corresponding file field.
