EPS (.eps, Encapsulated PostScript) is a vector graphics format based on Adobe's PostScript language. It contains a PostScript description of a single-page image (vectors, text, colors) plus an optional low-resolution preview image. EPS was the standard format for print graphics and logos for decades.

Are my EPS files uploaded?

No. Files you open from your device stay on your device and are rendered locally. Only the public sample graphic is requested from the server.

Is EPS still relevant?

EPS is largely being replaced by PDF and SVG for new work, but remains important for legacy print workflows, stock graphics and logo files. Many design archives still contain EPS files that need to be previewed.

EPS (.eps, Encapsulated PostScript), introduced by Adobe in 1987, is a vector graphics format based on the PostScript page description language. An EPS file contains a PostScript program describing a single image — vectors, text, fills, gradients — wrapped in a structured comment header (%%BoundingBox, %%EndComments). EPS files often include a low-resolution TIFF or PICT preview image for applications that cannot interpret PostScript. EPS was the standard format for print-ready vector graphics, logos and illustrations for over two decades.
