### What is an ISO file?

An ISO (.iso) file is a sector-by-sector copy of an optical disc, stored as a single file. It follows the ISO 9660 (and often UDF) filesystem standard, allowing it to be burned to a disc or mounted as a virtual drive.

### Are my ISO files uploaded?

No. Files you open from your device stay on your device and are read locally. Only the public sample disc image is requested from the server.

### Can it read UDF and bootable ISOs?

The viewer reads standard ISO9660 with Rock Ridge / Joliet extensions and UDF. It lists files for inspection; boot-related sectors are not executed.
