## Overview

Measured constants (verified Aug 2026): desktop title Arial ~20px single line ~600px; mobile title 2-line clamp ≈805px; descriptions ≈920px desktop / ≈680px mobile over two lines at Arial 14px; since Jan 2025 mobile shows favicon + domain only while desktop keeps “site name › path”. Live rich results only: stars, product price/stock, date, desktop breadcrumbs — FAQ rich results were removed May 7, 2026 and HowTo in Sept 2023. Google rewrites ~62% of titles (Zyppy).

## When to use

- When you need to check a title against desktop single-line (~600px) and mobile two-line (~805px) truncation.
- When you want to preview a meta description wrapping over two lines at ~920px desktop or ~680px mobile.
- When you are adding a byline date, review stars, or product price and stock to a snippet.

## How it works

- Enter the required page title and URL, plus an optional meta description, site name, and byline date (YYYY-MM-DD).
- Choose a rich result (none, review stars, or product price + stock) and supply rating, review count, or price when needed.
- Select devices (both, desktop, or mobile) and themes (both, light, or dark).
- The tool outputs HTML SERP cards with favicon, current URL line formats, pixel meters, and diagnostics based on measured 2026 constants.

## Use cases

- Preview a blog snippet with a date byline across desktop, mobile, light, and dark.
- Check a product listing with stars, review count, and price plus stock.
- Compare title and description truncation before you publish metadata.

## Frequently asked questions

### What title pixel budgets does the preview use?

Desktop titles are modeled as a single Arial ~20px line of about 600px. Mobile titles use a two-line clamp of about 805px.

### How does the URL line differ on desktop and mobile?

Since January 2025, mobile shows favicon and domain only. Desktop still shows site name › path.

### Which rich results can I preview?

Only live types: review stars (AggregateRating), product price and stock, byline dates, and desktop breadcrumbs. FAQ rich results were removed on May 7, 2026.

### Will Google show my exact title?

Not always. Google rewrites about 62% of titles. The simulator shows your input against current pixel budgets; it does not predict rewrites.

### What do the meters and diagnostics show?

Pixel usage for title and description on desktop and mobile, plus notes on URL format and which rich results are still live.
