## Overview

Assess one workflow with ten evidence-based questions, critical safety gates, and a practical AI pilot checklist.

Yes = 10 points; partly = 5; no = 0. Unknown adds 0 confirmed points and 10 to the possible maximum. The range is confirmed score to confirmed score plus 10 per unknown; coverage is the percentage of non-unknown answers. Each of five dimensions contains two questions, maximum 20 points. Critical gates Q3, Q4, Q5, Q7, Q8, Q10 must all be Yes: any No or Partly means Prepare. Otherwise any Unknown means Verify. With no blockers or unknowns, Pilot requires a score of at least 80 AND every answer to be at least Partly (no No answers anywhere); otherwise use Assistance. These are heuristic thresholds, not validated probabilities.

A self-assessment of one workflow, not company certification, compliance advice, or a validated prediction of success. Answers are self-reported and not independently verified. Even a pilot requires a bounded scope, monitoring, and human approval; never use this result to justify unattended high-impact decisions. This tool makes no model calls and collects no name or email. Requests use normal platform processing; do not enter confidential information. The generated report makes no network requests and does not persist data.

## Inputs

- **Workflow name (optional)** (text)
- **Q1. Are the workflow steps documented and repeatable?** (select)
- **Q2. Are exceptions and out-of-scope cases clearly defined?** (select)
- **Q3. Is the source data authoritative, current, and checked?** (select)
- **Q4. Are data permissions confirmed and sensitive data minimized?** (select)
- **Q5. Does a person review and approve outputs before external effects?** (select)
- **Q6. Have representative cases and likely errors been tested?** (select)
- **Q7. Is an accountable owner assigned to this workflow?** (select)
- **Q8. Are least-privilege access and approval controls enforced?** (select)
- **Q9. Are a baseline and measurable success criteria defined?** (select)
- **Q10. Are stop conditions, a manual fallback, and rollback documented?** (select)

## When to use

- Before launching an AI pilot to verify data reliability, governance, and human review steps.
- When evaluating whether an internal business workflow has documented edge cases and fallback plans.
- During project scoping to identify critical operational risks that require resolution prior to testing.

## How it works

- Select an optional workflow name and answer ten structured questions spanning process documentation, data hygiene, human review, ownership, and safety controls.
- The tool tallies confirmed scores (10 for Yes, 5 for Partly, 0 for No or Unknown) and checks mandatory safety gates Q3, Q4, Q5, Q7, Q8, and Q10.
- It determines a readiness status (Pilot, Assistance, Prepare, or Verify) based on safety gates, unknowns, and total score thresholds.
- An HTML report is generated locally with dimension breakdowns, confirmed score ranges, and an actionable deployment checklist.

## Use cases

- Screening a customer support response drafting pipeline to ensure agents approve all generated content before delivery.
- Auditing an internal invoice data-extraction process to establish role-based permissions and audit logging.
- Evaluating an outbound sales outreach workflow to establish rollback mechanisms and error-handling baselines.

## Frequently asked questions

### What criteria are required to achieve a Pilot readiness status?

A workflow must score at least 80 points, answer 'Yes' to all six critical safety gates, contain zero 'No' answers across all ten questions, and have no unresolved 'Unknown' answers.

### Which questions function as critical safety gates?

Questions Q3 (authoritative data), Q4 (data permissions), Q5 (human approval), Q7 (accountable owner), Q8 (least-privilege access), and Q10 (rollback and manual fallback) are mandatory safety gates that require a 'Yes'.

### Does this tool transmit data or call external AI models?

No. The tool runs locally without calling external AI models, collects no personal identifiers, and the generated report makes no outbound network calls.

### How are 'Unknown / not checked' responses scored?

An unknown response contributes 0 confirmed points but adds 10 points to the potential score ceiling, yielding a score range and flagging the workflow for verification.

### Can this assessment certify an entire organization for AI compliance?

No. It is a heuristic self-assessment designed for a single specific workflow and does not constitute regulatory certification, legal counsel, or guaranteed success.
