## Overview

A local audio timing corrector. It analyzes mono PCM with adaptive energy-onset peak picking, anchors the first hit, and maps later transients to a quarter, eighth, or sixteenth-note grid. Choose a straight grid, built-in swing template, or a reference loop whose alternating timing residuals are transferred to the source. FFmpeg retimes marker-bounded segments with pitch-preserving tempo filters and joins them back into a downloadable file with timing metadata.

## Inputs

- **Loop audio** (file)
- **Tempo (BPM)** (number)
- **Grid** (select)
- **Quantize amount (%)** (number)
- **Groove target** (select)
- **Reference loop audio** (file)
- **Detection sensitivity** (select)
- **Output Format** (select)

## When to use

- Tighten uneven drum or percussion hits against a defined BPM and note grid.
- Apply light or triplet-like swing to a straight loop while preserving pitch.
- Transfer the timing feel of a reference loop to another audio loop.

## How it works

- Upload the loop audio and enter its tempo in BPM.
- Select a quarter-, eighth-, or sixteenth-note grid and choose the quantize amount.
- Choose a straight grid, 54% swing, 66.7% swing, or reference audio groove; upload a reference loop when using the reference option.
- The tool detects transients, retimes marker-bounded segments, joins them, and returns an audio file with timing metadata.

## Use cases

- Correct loose timing in drum, percussion, and rhythmic loop recordings.
- Create consistent straight or swung grooves for beat-making and arrangement work.
- Match the timing feel of one loop to a reference performance.

## Frequently asked questions

### What audio can I upload?

The tool accepts audio files through the audio input. Individual uploads can be up to 100 MB.

### Which beat grids are available?

You can use quarter-note, eighth-note, or sixteenth-note grids.

### Can I control how strongly the loop is quantized?

Yes. Set the quantize amount from 0% to 100%.

### Which groove targets are supported?

Supported targets are a straight grid, 54% light swing, 66.7% triplet-like swing, and a reference audio groove.

### What output formats are available?

You can export the retimed loop as MP3, WAV, FLAC, M4A, or OGG Vorbis.
