## Frequently asked questions

### Are spreadsheet timings technically locked?

No. The importer uses the sheet's Start and End cells, not a stored source baseline. Treat them as protected by workflow policy and compare the imported file with the original.

### Why can a successful import still omit subtitles?

Rows with unparseable times can be skipped; empty targets can be dropped by policy. Review the actual cues and reconcile against the baseline, not just the success message.

### Can I use a second worksheet for the final translation?

Not directly with this importer. It reads the first worksheet; place the approved data there and check recognized headers before importing.

### Do notes and a green rule report complete the handoff?

No. Notes are not rendered as subtitle dialogue, and local presets do not certify current platform acceptance. Keep review notes separately and test the actual delivery.
