### Should enclosure length be megabytes or audio duration?

Neither. It is the full file's size in bytes, including tags and artwork; calculate it after all edits.

### Does a green local report prove the episode is online?

No. The enclosure checker reads supplied files and XML, not the remote address. Confirm real retrieval separately.

### Does a matched file always identify the correct episode?

No. Filename, identical size or nearby duration can cause a pairing. Inspect the intended item and use the correct final file.

### Should correcting tags create a new GUID?

Do not automatically replace an existing episode identity for a metadata edit. Review the feed's identity policy and preserve the approved GUID unless a deliberate publishing decision requires otherwise.
