## Frequently asked questions

### Does the linter run a Docker build?

No. It performs static analysis without a Docker daemon. Build success and runtime behavior must be tested separately.

### Does a valid image reference prove that I can pull it?

No. The check is about format; registry access, existence, identity and architecture need deployment-side verification.

### Should staging and production have identical values?

No. Expected endpoints or flags may differ; required keys and the reason for each difference must be documented.

### Does masking the diff make it safe to paste production secrets?

No. Sanitize inputs before sharing. Output masking does not remove secret data from the original request.
